This role is for an **ASSISTANT CONTROLLER** who can make an impact and is located on the “Eastern side of Santa Monica by the 405/10 fwy interchange! The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for all of their assigned portfolios including, investor reporting, capital structuring for property acquisitions, property dispositions, and joint ventures. Assure adherence to P & P's for all accounting/finance functions in alignment with company strategy and structure, monthly reporting, budgeting, year end reconciliations/reporting, distributions of K-1 to investors, Communicate with Investors, Work closely w/ Executive Management to oversee all aspects of the closing process in acquisitions.  This is a key member of the team resp for reporting on  acquisitions, capital finance investment program implantation and exit strategies, relationships and presentations Required Skills: -MUST HAVE CPA & Big 4, 5 or 8 experience. MUST HAVE EXTENSIVE RECENT REAL ESTATE INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE in a Managerial capacity, Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, Partnership experience a plus, Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate w/ various levels of Executive Management, Staff and Investors.
