Growth and advancement opportunity available!Requirements:Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. CPA preferred but not required. Can also be a Finance degree only if the university DID NOT offer Accounting.Must have experience in multi-state sales and use tax.Min. 2-4 years experience in a staff accountant or related accounting role. Must have excellent communication skills. Must have advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Must work well with others and able to learn quickly to function well in this fast-paced, team-oriented, deadline-driven environment. Duties: Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports. Maintain record of assests, liabilities, profit and loss, or other financial activities within organization. Reconcile G/L account balances to supporting details. Prepare journal entries to adjust/correct reconciling items. Develop specific goals and plans to prioritieze, organize, and accomplish assigned work responsibilities. Interpret and apply GAAP standards for areas of responsibility. Monitor processes for compliance and continuous improvement opportunities. Document processes as necessary. Assist/support other departmenrs as necessary. Salary $40,000-50,000 DOE. Annual bonus incentive and full benefit package offered.
