Description:

Financial management of project activities including:
-Working with Program Managers and Engineers to establish appropriate revenue and expense recognition in support of monthly close.

-Conduct analysis of incoming business mix and ensure accurate of order book through reconciliation.


-Identification of cash opportunities such as invoicing, improved terms and conditions and payment schedules.

-Pre-bid risk assessment and mitigation strategy through contract terms or scope definition as well as participation in CAT4 reviews to contain risks and lead lessons learned discussion.

-See project financial activities through initiation to closure.

-Lead role in the preparation, development and presentation of the 3- year business plan and annual budget, ensuring appropriate profit, cash and capital targets are reflected by Product Groups and Departments.

-Develop monthly forecasts of high integrity based on operation inputs and drivers of the business.

-Conduct trend and variance analysis.

-Identify risks and opportunities to the budget and communicate with management.

-Perform benchmarking studies. Identify and lead management of structural costs initiatives with VP, Finance to achieve best-in-class levels of overhead cost.

-Report on progress and obstacles to senior management.

-Conduct competitive and market analysis in support of acquisition growth strategy. Participate or lead due diligence efforts and perform valuation analysis on potential targets.

-Lead or support integration efforts including development of roadmap of task ownership and timing. 

 Job Requirements:

-Experience in a project accounting environment is highly desired.
