I-Behavior Inc.

 

Position:  Accounts Receivable Accountant

 

Objective:  To assist the finance department in performing its function to record, summarize and report the operating results of I-Behavior Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiary aCerno Inc. on a timely basis to enable management to make informed financial decisions and to manage the company’s financial position and cash flow.

 

Description: Reports directly to Vice President, Chief Financial Officer.  Performs day-to-day accounts receivable and related activities including the following:

 

· Performs accounts receivable invoicing which involves drafting, account management approval, mailing and recording invoices in accounting system as well as reconciling to CRM revenue forecast

· Researches and responds to client and account manager invoicing inquiries

· Drafts general ledger journal entries to accrue broker commissions and external data license costs associated with revenue recognized

· Prepares weekly Transaction Report with supporting documents to update LOC availability at bank

· Performs cash receipts application by printing lockbox reports, recording payments, calculating broker commissions / net name adjustments taken and mail checks received to lockbox

· Assists Credit Manager in performing daily accounts receivable collection efforts by contacting clients with past due balances as needed

· Prepares customer statements showing outstanding invoices and distributes to clients monthly,

· Prepares broker commission schedules on a quarterly basis

· Follows key accounting policies and ensures compliance with revenue recognition procedures for both companies

 

Qualifications: Associate’s degree in accounting

   5 plus years experience in accounting or related field

   Strong organization, analytical and communication skills

 

Expectations:  Builds strong relationships with management and employees

Manages multiple responsibilities at the same time

  Achieves closure to tasks within pre-determined deadlines

  Proactively seeks to continuously improve performance

  Keeps all sensitive information strictly confidential
