ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE I - Billing/Reconciliation/Journal Entry/Research Exp.

This position will be moving to Fairfield, California between 2008 thru 2010

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

This person is responsible for researching and processing all returned checks and chargeback’s, booking journal entries to adjust various cash accounts, performing payment research for unapplied payments from various channels, process replacement checks and reconciling various payment channels.

 

Perform billing adjustment and reconciliation analysis.  Ability to read and analyze billing to determine product type and billing adjustments needed, be able to explain and advise various departments on returned items and corrective action needed.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

0-1 years billing and general accounting experience.  Bachelors degree is desired. Must have analytical skills, Good written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate billing/reconciliation issues, Ability to work independently and as a member of a team and display problem solving and occasional decision making skills, Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, Be self motivated and demonstrate a sense of urgency attitude.
