ARG Financial Staffing is currently recruiting for the following positions:

 

Accountant - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and at least 5 years of related experience.  Must be able to work well with other administrative personnel, perform hands-on financial functions, work independently and with a team, manage multiple time-sensitive tasks, and build and maintain positive working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.  Must have a general knowledge of computers and know how to extract data from databases for use in programs, such as Excel.  Programs and platforms used include but are not limited to:  Excel, Word, Sage Fixed Asset Software, Microsoft Office 2003, Windows XP, AS400 and Ultipro Payroll Software.  $40-$50K

 

Audit Senior Manager - 8-10 years experience.  This is an outstanding opportunity for the successful candidate to become a shareholder within two years.  The candidate can be based out of Atlanta or Knoxville.  Up to 25% travel (primarily East Tennessee and Georgia with a little of Florida).

 

Contract Administrator - Must be proficient and comfortable reading and understanding complex commercial contracts.  Must be diligent, thorough and detail oriented.  Must possess excellent organizational and coordination skills.  Must possess interpersonal skills.  Must be comfortable performing financial calculations.  $35-$45K

 

Controller - Several opportunities available.  Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.  Up to $80K

 

CPA - 5+ years public accounting experience.  $55-$75K

 

Internal Bank Auditor - Local bank needs 15 year audit professional with 5 years bank audit experience.  Successful candidate will need to have a solid background in financial auditing and bank auditing.  Experience in maintaining and testing of internal controls a must.  4 year finance or accounting degree is strongly preferred.  $60-$70K

 

Recruiter - BS or BA in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.  Prefer 2+ years accounting experience.  $35-$42K

 

Sales & Use Tax Manager - Must have prior experience with multi-state sales tax compliance and research.  Additionally, multi-state audit experience is critical.  CPA a plus with 10+ years experience in handling sales and use tax issues.  $75-$90K

 

Senior Auditor - Requires CPA and/or CIA experience.  Strong communication skills.  5+ years of audit experience a plus.  $70-$85K

 

Senior Controller - Preferably a CPA with military background to travel internationally for a local company that provides security for the US Military.  The position pays $250,000 and all living and transportation expenses are paid.  Employees receive 2 weeks off for every 90 days worked.

 

Senior Credit Administrator - Growing bank seeks senior level credit professional to work as manager and move to officer role.  Up to 10 years with commercial lending and credit administration experience required.  4 year finance or business degree is strongly preferred in combination with banking industry background.  Up to $75K

 

Tax Manager - 2+ years tax experience required.  $50-$65K

 

 

Start Working Today – the following temp/temp-to-hire assignments are available:

 

Accounting Clerk - Oak Ridge, accounts payable, excellent data entry skills required, ORACLE APPLICATION EXPERIENCE A MUST.  $11-$12 per hour

 

Accounts Payable Processors - Long-term temp assignments in Oak Ridge.  $10-$11 per hour

 

Administrative Assistant - $12-$15 per hour

 

Bookkeeper (part-time) - A local growing company is seeking a part-time bookkeeper to work 20 hours a week.  QuickBooks experience is a must.  $15 per hour

 

Bookkeeper/Accountant - Payroll, month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations.  Excel and Peachtree preferred.  Non-profit experience a huge plus.  Any experience of "gifts in kind" helpful.  $30-$35K

 

IT Buyer - Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university.  One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent of education and experience.  Knowledge of Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, Soloman programs.  $18-$20 per hour

 

Staff Accountant - BS degree with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance.  General accounting knowledge, organizational, problem solving, detail oriented, oral and written communications.  Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities and assignments.  Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.  Strong analytical ability.  Strong team mentality and ability.  Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.  $35-$45K
