ACCOUNTING MANAGER (TAS)

ACCOUNTING MANAGER (TAS) 85-95K + BONUS 

 

Growing Fortune 500 Company located in Northern NJ seeks an experienced Accounting Manager responsible for managing all aspects of the General Ledger, including monthly closes, quarterly reviews and year-end audits, financial reporting and Sarbanes Oxley compliance for this growing and dynamic company. The ideal candidate will have previous management experience working in the accounting department of a public company with a degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred).

 

Responsibilities:

• Managing the consolidated monthly close, overall responsibility for day-to-day US accounting, general ledger and monthly close process, including review and preparation of account reconciliations.
• Key interface with foreign accounting resources with respect to accounting and financial reporting issues.
• Researching and implementing new accounting and SEC pronouncements.
• Interacting with and providing support to external auditors.
• Supervising and development of a team of four.
• Key contributor in accounting for and integration of mergers and acquisitions.
• Assist with SOX audits and maintain and review internal controls and documentation.

 

Requirements:

• BS in accounting, MBA/CPA a plus
• 6-10 years of a combination of public accounting and industry experience
• CPA with prior Big 4 Public accounting experience highly desirable
• Previous management experience
• Experience with financial accounting packages, Oracle exp. a plus.
