We have an exciting opportunity for a Accounting Reporting Analyst to join our Team.. Working in our dynamic Accounting/Finance Department, this position will partner with assigned business groups and assist in developing forecasts, identifying variances, and rectify discrepancies. 

Position DescriptionResponsible for the preparation and maintenance of the monthly forecast and annual plan for assigned business groups Partner with Business owners in explaining their monthly variances and assist in preparation of their forecasts Prepare monthly trend & variance analysis at a Brand and Product Level (Actual vs.Forecast) and Cost of Goods & Other Incom Provide analysis and support Regional Finance managers in analyzing and explaining their monthly Cost of Goods variances Create Ad-hoc Reporting as needed for Senior Management Assist with corporate month end close process and prepare monthly journal entries as necessary

Position QualificationsBachelor of Science Degree, in Accounting or Finance with 3 - 5 years progressive experience working in reporting, planning, and analysis Proven analytical skills – income statement, cost of goods, trend and variance reporting and proven technical skills in budget & variance analysis Experience building Financial models in either Excel or Access Experience in a high volume transactions within a fast-paced, changing environment VERY Strong Excel skills – VLOOKUP, Sumif, 'data' functions etc Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
