ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

 

Our client, a Fortune 500 Company in the Metro-Atlanta area, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist that can have an immediate impact.  This company is seeking a highly motivated, well organized individual with A/P, A/R, and Credit experience to assist in reorganizing the department and its procedures.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Perform full cycle Accounts Payable process, including invoice entry, check production and purchase order matching

 Establish customer credit lines, set up new vendor accounts and  reconcile  invoices, payments and cash applications

 Prepare daily bank reconciliations and perform account analysis

 Assist with month end close and perform General Ledger maintenance, research and analysis

 Process and audit expense and travel reports

 Manage petty cash and office supply expense accounts

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 2-5 years experience

 College degree preferred but not required

 Strong Microsoft Excel a must

 Other software knowledge such as Great Plains, Oracle, FAS 500 Asset Accounting and 1099 Express a plus

 Outstanding communication and teamwork skills
