The Company was established in 1928 and offers a comprehensive high-quality assortment of brand name sporting apparel and equipment at competitive prices.  MANAGEMENT & REPORTING STRUCTUREReports directly to Manager District AP POSITION DESCRIPTIONAudit operations and investigate internal and external cases involving losses to the company. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES·  Investigate internal and external theft.·  Conduct audits.·  Assist operations in asset protection issues. PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS ·  Associate’s degree in law enforcement or equivalent relevant experience.·  1-3 years experience in asset protection in a retail environment.·  Ability to interview for investigations.·  PC experience.·  Ability to solve a wide range of complex, multi-disciplinary problems which must consider short and intermediate term company-wide planning.·  Ability to write standard documentation using established formats by writing one or two brief sentences.·  Ability to work in a standard work environment with occasional involvement with projects or situations that result in new ideas of moderate impact.·  Ability to interview for or discuss detailed information, frequently involving both internal and external customer problems and complaints.·  Responsible for other duties as assigned or developed.  EOE, drug-free workplace.
