AR/AP Manager up to 75K!

Job Summary In addition to maintaining accounting records for management office, performs full supervision of Accounting Assistants and Associate Accountants.  Responsible for the timeliness and accuracy of accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.  Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word and Lotus Notes.  Reports to the Assistant Controller.     Essential Duties and Responsibilities Either directly or through regional accounting staff, is responsible for: ·  Maintaining signature specimens·  Reviewing late fees paid to vendors·  Setting up electronic payments to vendors·  Monitoring tax payments and keeping a tracking schedule to ensure timely payment·  Ensuring the timely processing of lease commission payments via check or ACH·  Approving new vendor set up and overseeing vendor maintenance including maintaining tax ID information for 1099 processing·  Work with Cash Manager on banking issues and maintain bank software user profiles Job Description: Transaction ManagerPage Two   Essential Duties and Responsibilities (continued)·  Selecting candidates through the hiring process·  Providing training and support·  Establishing training and performance goals·  Monitoring performance and providing feedback·  Developing accounting personnel for advancement, as appropriate·  Coordinating workload of Accounting Assistants and Associate Accountants ·  Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Controller  Section IV: Position Requirements Minimum Education andExperience Required:  Minimum 3 years experience in a full charge accounting position with oversight responsibilities, or 3 years experience supervising accounts payable and/or account receivable.
