AR/AP Specialist

Major Responsibilities

Timely collection of receivables, Constant follow-up with customers for payment, Control of Payables, Maintaining all related records, Timely entry into accounting system (SAP), Preparing various AR/AP related and other MIS. Preparation of financial statement and dealing with auditors.Primary Duties

1.  To maintain and timely updating the contact list of customer’s payables department and maintaining relationship with them.

2.  Constant follow-up with customers for timely payment of due invoices.

3.  Providing all required documents to customers for them to process our payments in time.

4.  Making all payments related entry in the accounting system (SAP), which includes check received, charge back (deductions) made by the customers (and accepted by us) etc.

5.  Validation of the charge backs (deductions), getting its approval from the concerned department, passing entry against the right heads.

6.  To challenge any invalid charge backs with customers and getting it settled.

7.  Control of payables.

8.  Preparation of cash flows.

9.  Preparing various reports on daily / weekly / monthly basis viz. AR aging, projected cash inflow etc.

10. Dealing with auditors for finalization of accounts on monthly / yearly basis.

11. Conduct other related job as requested.
