AR Staff Accountant

Description:Responsible for or provide support for all AR functions including:Coordinate the billing effort with our sales team to ensure accurate and timely billing at month-end.Calculate monthly invoices from our advertising campaigns.Processing credit card charges and posting merchant prepayments into our accounting system.Process monthly and annual closing of Accounts Receivable and related general ledger functions; including posting of Accounts Receivable activity to the general ledger.Maintain monthly collection efforts & process new merchant credit process.Ensure prompt resolution of customer inquiries and cases filed in Salesforce tracking system. Support sales teams with inquires regarding customer accounts; including payment questions, credit and refund requests and miscellaneous receivables questions pertaining to customer orders.Assist in the identification and resolution of merchant related problems, including credits, chargebacks and fraud. Ongoing monitoring and reporting of activity.Answer ad hoc questions from other business units in support of the receivables function.Support other group functions including collections effort.Assist with special projects; contribute in project teams and other requests as needed.Qualifications:2+ years of experience in Revenue, Accounts Receivable, andor Customer ServiceBachelors degree required. AccountingBusiness preferred.ERP systems or equivalent experience.
