This  prestigious international Atlanta Headquartered company is seeking a strong  Vice President of Accounting.   The  VP of  Accounting is a new opening due to growth.  This is a unique opportunity to work with a world class team of accounting professionals in an expanding department.  The Vice President reports to the EVP who is a CPA that is interested in mentoring the right candidate for succession planning.role.

 

The VP of Accounting will oversee a staff of 8 and Direct the monthly close,  financial reporting,  forecasting and budgeting activities, attend financial review meetings, and identify and implement process improvements. 

 

The VP of Accounting  will also partner with other members of the senior management team to negotiate and review contracts, as well as provide guidance and manage the accounting and finance staff.

 

 

  Job Requirements MBA  or CPA  8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.    Thorough understanding of accounting concepts / GAAP. Demonstrated management and leadership abilities. Strong attention to detail with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient knowledge of financial reporting systems and MS Office applications

Preferred Skills: Prior Audit, Public accounting,  fortune 500 or financial services experience . CPA / MBA / CFA or Master of Accountancy For immediate consideration apply now
