Account Asst.

The ideal candidate will provide professional customer service to our vendors and employees, reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis, and process billing and debenture payments on scheduled time. Candidate will be responsible for maintaining scheduled reconciliation reports, Fixed Assets for monthly and yearly reporting, personal and real property tax records as well as monitoring and processing 1099 forms at year end.


Duties of this position include but are not limited to:

1.Reconcile general ledger accounts. Maintain all reporting for monthly, quarterly and yearly distribution.

2.Process all vendor statements, check requests and invoices for general ledger coding and cost center coding. Maintain the accounts payable master vendor file with updated addresses and tax information.

3. Process all invoices with purchase orders as required. Verify and reconcile purchase orders on a monthly basis.

4. Assist as backup for processing debentures as needed. Process payments on a weekly basis to related companies, bill debentures on a monthly or quarterly basis and update database and payment spreadsheet as needed.

5.Maintain all fixed assets files, including record in Bassets system, record depreciation, and process property taxes.
 

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.3 to 6 years experience in Accounting or other related items.

2.AA or A/S degree or equivalent experience required.

3.Accounting and/or Bookkeeping desired.
