Accountant

Position Description:

To perform the classification, analysis and evaluation of financial and other related accounting transactions in financial and subsidiary accounting.

Position-Related Responsibilities:

¨ Strong knowledge base of Account Payable, Account Receivable, cash reconciliation General Ledger & Fixed Asset maintenance

 

¨ Full monthly close outs

 

¨ Vendor & customer file maintenance

 

¨ Complete analysis of financial statements and ability to investigate unexpected valances or balances

 

¨ Ability to work independently

 

¨ Familiarity with SAP operating system is a plus

 

 

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

¨ A bachelor's degree in accounting, or college degree with 24 units of accounting from an accredited college or university together with two years of experience in financial accounting.

¨ An associate's degree in accounting or an associate's degree with 18 units of accounting from an accredited college or university together with eight years of experience in financial accounting may substitute for the above requirements.
