Accountant/Accounting Manager

AMS is the premier provider of part-time, and interim accounting and financial management professionals servicing both for profit and non-profit organizations.

 

Currently, AMS is seeking Accountants/Accounting Managers to service our Non-Profit clients in the New York Metro Area.

 

Hands on skills will be required and include the following responsibilities:

1.  Preparing and maintaining journal entries, general ledger, financial statements, bank reconciliations, and payroll 

2.  Preparing and maintaining the budget and cash flow analysis

3.  Maintaining and filing all Non-Profit financial reports for internal and external, as needed

4.  Solid understanding of Non-Profit accounting and grants management

 

Requirements:

1.  Three to ten years experience with Non-Profit organizations

2.  BS/BA in Accounting/Finance

3.  Strong Excel, and accounting software such as Peachtree, QuickBooks, Financial Edge, etc.

4.  Strong written and oral communication skills
