Job Responsibilities and Requirements:Responsible for standard costing and analyzing, reporting and tracking standard and gross margin performance, while establishing and documenting company policies. Responsible for accuracy of inventory as stated on the ledger and reviewing the supply chain processes Partner with and advise operations and distribution management to critically review business opportunities. Responsible for cost accounting activities: set and analyze standard costs, develop reports, analyze variances. Perform inventory reconciliations including the transition from manufacturing to finished goods, the audit of physical inventories and other daily operational activities Reconcile and analyze various Inventory and Other Product Costs accounts as well as develop action plans to address issues Prepare Journal Entries for month-end close for Inventory, cost of sales, obsolescence, or other adjustments needed related to the product costs Ensure the maintenance of systems, procedures, and controls for tracking and analyzing all general ledger and sub ledger transactions, related to reporting Interpret and ensure the appropriate application of required accounting practices in accordance with corporate policies and GAAP Assure all corporate financial reporting timelines are consistently met with adequate supporting dataMust have strong communication skills and high adaptability.
