Accountant, CPA Candidate, or CPA

We are seeking one or two entry-level or an experienced accountant/CPA candidate/CPA to work for an established local accounting firm, with partners and staff practicing public accounting in Alaska for over 25 years.

 

Clients range from local government and non-profit organizations to small and medium-sized for-profit corporations.  Our clients operate in a wide array of industries, ranging from farming to retail sales.

 

Responsibilities will range from audit and attest services to tax return preparation to management advisory services.  All employees have the opportunity to diversify skills or specialize in any of the above.

 

Travel is required, but is limited to trips usually no longer than five consecutive days, and most travel occurs within the State of Alaska.  This provides a great opportunity to experience all that Alaska has to offer.

 

Salary is based on an hourly wage of approximately $20/hr for entry level.   Any hour worked is an hour paid.  There is also a discretionary annual bonus.

 

A benefit package is included, including full health coverage and a profit-sharing plan, as well as generous vacation and sick leave policies.
