Accountant - Customer Support

OVERVIEW:

Provides customer service and software support to Caselle, Inc. users. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of accounting skills to resolve customer questions, problems, and concerns. Provides outstanding customer service and is dedicated to building customer confidence in Caselle Inc. Works in a team environment to improve customer service, training of customers, and co-workers.

DUTIES:Provides software support to all Caselle, Inc. customers on a number of applications including GL, AP, AR, Payroll, etc. Answers incoming customer service calls and responds quickly to help resolve software problems, user errors, and associated technical issues. Places follow-up calls to customers for technical assistance, file repair, resolution, and updates. Able to explain simple to complex accounting and billing solutions to customers verbally, in a manner that enables customers to follow along using their own software. Researches customer questions through company channels utilizing personnel in all departments in order to resolve problems. Possesses outstanding communication skills including; listening skills, patience, effective questioning, and courtesy. Documents customer issues accurately and completely in order to facilitate resolution, reduce questions, and for internal tracking purposes. Remains current in knowledge of Caselle, Inc. software offerings in order to maintain high levels of customer service and question resolution. Provides customer training in multiple settings including, classroom, phone, and trade shows and conferences.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:Accounting experience: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable. Ability to analyze financial information, troubleshoot, and solve simple to complex accounting problems. Experience with journal entries, bank reconciliations, budgeting, and other accounting duties. Outstanding Customer Service skills. Able to work in a team environment. Able to successfully meet timelines and project goals. Prior experience working with fund accounting a plus. Prior city, county, or municipal government also a plus.Able to learn quickly showing initiative in all aspects of the job.
