Accountant- Desire a non-traditional Accounting role that compensates extremely well!

 Our Client hired The Mergis Group to find their next Accountant that would be responsible for variety of unique projects spanning across all areas of Accounting and Finance. A highlight about this position is that isn’t your typical Accountant role because your not doing the same tasks day in day out. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:The ideal Accountant will be a self-starter that is detailed oriented that will provide vital support to Accounting and Finance and responsibilities that include accounting systems implementation, analysis on budgets, forecasting, analyze financial models, cost accounting projects, and ad-hoc projects.   REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: · The qualified Accountant will have a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Art in Accounting, Finance.  · At least 2+ years of experience in public accounting or at least 4+ years of experience public company in a similar role.· CPA (strongly desired but not required) In addition to working in a rewarding and enriching corporate environment, this position offers competitive compensation and excellent benefits.
