Requirements:

 

The Farm Credit Bank of Texas seeks an enthusiastic, self motivated and experienced individual to join our Loan Operations Team.  This is an opportunity to apply your accounting knowledge to loan related accounting support functions and procedures.  This is also an opportunity to demonstrate your strong customer satisfaction skills.  Position requires a degree in accounting, finance, business or related field, with two years accounting or related business experience preferred.  Occasional travel to Associations and related functions inside and outside of the district may be required. 



Job Duties:



 

Position is responsible for accounting and customer support functions related to Bank cash applications, including pre-authorized drafts system (P.A.I.D.), Lockbox, and other cash received in Bank.  The position is also responsible for direct note entries, accounting for Guaranteed and other Bank loans (Hancock, Signature Leasing, etc), as well as for IRS reporting and data warehouse verifications.  This position requires independent judgment in the application of generally accepted accounting principles as it is related to loan accounting activity.  Successful candidate must be results oriented and able to learn new systems and processes quickly.
