Fast growing Mortgage Banking Company conveniently located on the border of Riverside & Orange County in Corona off the 91/71/241 freeway is looking for an experienced mortgage accountant.

 

Description:

 

~Handle interim servicing for mortgage loans held for sale

~Perform collections for late payments and other receivables due company

~Balance trust accounts

~Reconcile and balance impounds, principal and interest due to investors

~Reconciling of other receivable accounts

~Assist with other accounting functions, including HR/Payroll and training in backup.

 

Requirements:

 

~Minimum 2 years experience with residential mortgage loan servicing and collections

~Minimum 5 years accounting experience

~Accounting degree or combination of education and extensive mortgage accounting background

~Intermediate Excel and QuickBooks skills required 

~Knowledge of McDonald Mortgage loan servicing software a plus.

~Knowledge of Paychex Preview software a plus

~Strong technical and analytical skills

~Excellent written and verbal communication skills
