Accountant - Oil & Gas - Downtown Denver

A large Oil and Gas Company located in Denver has an immediate opening for an Accountant to join their General Accounting and Accounts Payable team.  This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant to gain valuable experience with a highly reputable and successful company. 

 

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and 1-2 years of related experience. Oil and Gas experience is preferred, but not required. The pay range for this position is between $45k and $51k, depending on experience.

 

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required

· Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in Oil and Gas

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

· Knowledge of Bolo Accounting system preferred

· Good interpersonal skills

· Ability to prioritize workload and know when to discuss priority conflicts with supervisor

· Must be able to read, interpret and comply with state escheat regulations

· Ability to analyze account activity, identify issues and resolve problems
