Seeking candidates with general accounting experience AND exposure to tax issues, sales tax experience highly desired.The responsibilities and duties of this position include but are not limited to: Preparing returns and assisting resolution of exemption issues Assisting with administration related to notices received from various state taxation departments Investigating QAD DB balances, report running, usage of Hyperion and other financial systems Filing, invoices and other documentation General administrative support for the teaQualifications BA in Accounting or Finance 3-4 years overall generalist accounting experience Exposure to tax issues especially sales tax highly desired Proficiency in MS Office, especially in EXCEL Knowledge of or experience with an ERP system not essential but highly desired Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Attention to detail and desire for quality workSalary Range-DOE (High 40s to Mid 50s)E-mail Resume to KellyLong@spherion.com .
