ACCOUNTANT -- Big Y Foods

Big Y Foods, Inc. is looking for a professional team player in our Finance area to prepare, analyze and maintain financial information for internal reporting requirements.  Responsibilities include general ledger closings; budgeting; financial statements; analysis of trends, costs and income variances; and management reporting, while ensuring adherence to GAAP.

 

Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with at least 2 years’ experience, and will know and use the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of accounting.  The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, solid organization skills and excellent attention to detail.  The ability to manage time effectively and work on a variety of tasks in a fast-paced, team environment is essential.  The ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of the job is needed.
