Direct Source partners with the nation’s top retailers to provide the most innovative technology solutions for their retail stores. This is a newly created role in our expanding accounting department, in which you will:

 

1. Oversee the coding of invoices to projects into accounting system

2. Prepare monthly profit and loss (P&L) statements by project

3. Review P&L statement for correct accounting and make appropriate adjustments

4. Work with project managers to:

a. review P&L for actual versus budget

b. prepare project estimates to completion of project

c. prepare weekly billings to clients

d. process invoice corrections or adjustments

5. Set up new projects in accounting system

6. Accurately review and code weekly vendor payments to project budgets

7. Assist with other accounting functions

8. Other duties as assigned

 

Candidates must have:Accounting degreeMinimum 2 years P&L experienceAbility to be assertive in obtaining necessary informationStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience on Solomon is preferred, but not requiredProvide senior management with policy suggestions.
