The right candidate will be proactive and assertive, have a high attention to detail and have a proven track record of achievement. This individual will assist the accounting manager with a variety of daily accounting and administrative functions.Daily expectations may include: --Maintaining files and keeping them in order--Basic office duties:  filing, faxing, copying important paperwork--Sorting and delivering mail throughout the office--Accounts Payable matching and invoicing--Assist with administrative duties Requirements:  The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and detail oriented, with some accounting experience.  Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience will be a plus, along with good math skills and knowledge of basic office machines.  Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Office, Excel, and Outlook is recommended.Core Job Functions: -Data Entry (order entry into accounting system - Vantage) -Accounts Receivable -Some Collections -Some Accounts Payable -Invoicing -Other tasks as assigned by Accounting Manager Since 1946, Spherion has been helping talented individuals find rewarding job opportunities that drive excellence in their career.
