Job Description:



We have an IMMEDIATE position available for an Accounting Assistant with a successful international company in the Culver City, CA area.

The Accounting Assistant will play an integral part in the timely processing of invoices and accurate reporting of expenditures. The ideal candidate will be proactive and enjoy working with a variety of customers, vendors and employees.



Job Description:

 

Enter invoices into accurately; ensure all invoices have proper approval, are coded properly, and match to purchase orders and packing slips. Additional duties include weekly check runs, researching and resolving payment issues, mailing payments to vendors, and maintaining payment records.

 

Expense report and credit card expense verification.



Qualifications:

 

- 2 years of relevant experience is required,

 

- Ability to communicate clearly and excellent telephone etiquette is required.

 

- Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Excel, MS Access, MS Word and other software experience required.

 

- Highly organized, detail-oriented, a strong work ethic, and demonstrated teamwork skills required.

 

- Ability to function independently and effectively in a self-directed environment
