Accounting Assistant

“K” Line America, Inc., is a leader in the steamship industry and one of several successful organizations under the “K” Line group of companies.  We are currently searching for highly motivated and experienced candidates to fill the role of Accounting Assistant in our Richmond, VA headquarters office. 

 

Our Accounting Assistants are a fundamental piece of the Accounts Receivable department and are responsible for contacting clients regarding outstanding account balances, preparing client invoices as well as researching overpayments and unapplied funds. Additional responsibilities include correspondence with sales staff to determine reasons for unpaid invoices, documentation, and check information.



Our ideal candidates will possess superior knowledge of MS Excel and Access software as well as the ability to communicate effectively and analyze information.  A focus on and experience with customer service issues is also required.
