Accounting Assistant--IMMEDIATE OPENING!

Porter Novelli, a global public relations company, has an immediate opening for a full-time Accounting Assistant to join the Washington, DC office’s Finance team.   

 

Responsibilities

·  Provide financial services and tools that help Porter Novelli and its clients meet their defined business objectives through the efficient and effective management of budgets, resources and revenue

·  Provide ad hoc financial analysis as required

·  Manage client budgeting, invoicing and capacity planning

·  Build and maintain confidence in the Porter Novelli accounting system

·  Work with other Finance employees to proactively manage workload challenges

 

 

Qualifications

·  2-4 Years relevant experience in related field

·  Demonstrated ability to analyze profitability and revenue trends

·  Ability to multi-task and switch projects when needed

·  Proactive, responsive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with deadlines

·  Excellent internal and external communication skills

·  Demonstrated strong client relationships

·  Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field required
