We are currently seeking an Accounting Associate to join our team!


Details of Position:
Under supervision, performs accounting transactions and accounts receivable tasks critical to daily operations. Duties include customer payment processing, and daily payment posting. Also, gathering information for the reconciliation of account balances, bank reconciliations and some accounts payable. The ideal candidate would also display excellent interpersonal skills, as well as an eagerness and willingness to learn.

Primary Contributions / Day to Day Accountabilities:
Prepare and post daily deposit

Complete bank reconciliations

General account reconciliations

Processing and understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable

Accurate and timely entry of other financial data

Cross training with other accounting personnel

Various other analysis and projects within the department
Assist in the month end close process


Requirements:

The qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

Associates Degree or successful completion of an accounting related Certificate Program preferred

1-3 years of accounting related experience in a similar role


*Motivated individual with excellent attention to detail

*Organized and resourceful

*Ability to manage multiple tasks while not compromising quality
*Aptitude for learning new systems.

 

 

*Candidates with experience in consumer loans and/or auto sales industry will be given preference.
