Job Description:

Crisdel has an immediate opening in South Plainfield, NJ for a Book Keeper.  This position reports directly to the Controller. Responsibilities of this position include:

·  Preparation of monthly certified payroll reports

·  Cash receipts reconciliation

·  Bank account reconciliation

·  General Ledger account reconciliation

·  Job cost reconciliation

·  Preparation of payroll tax returns

·  Balance sheet account analysis

·  Prepare month end journal entries, including accruals

·  Enter contracts and subcontracts in Timberline Accounting Software

·  Preparation of AIA billings in Timberline Accounting Software

·  Preparation of schedules and ad-hoc internal reports

·  Preparation of schedules and reports for external auditors

·  Preparation of quarterly financial reports (income statement) for internal use

·  Coordinate quarterly reviews and yearend audits with CPA firm



Qualifications:
Qualified candidates should have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, (OR) a Bachelors Degree in Business or Finance with credits in accounting coursework, (OR) an Associates Degree in Accounting and five years of practical work experience, (OR) a minimum of seven years of practical work experience in accounting.

In addition to the above requirements, candidates should have adept computer skills and be proficient in spreadsheet and database management software. Knowledge of Timberline Office Accounting Software is a plus. Ability to meet deadlines with a high level of accuracy is required.
