Duties and Responsibilities

 

This position is responsible for a variety of accounts payable functions including

 

·  Establishing vendor and sub-contractor accounts in computer system

·  Keying data into computer system and balancing total check run to purchase order journal

·  Generating checks, preparing for signature, sorting for mail or construction office pick-up

·  Meeting weekly, bi-monthly and monthly payment deadlines

·  Answering vendor and Company Construction Manager  payment questions

·  Researching bill payments, duplicate payments and balances

·  Establishing and maintaining paid invoice files

·  Preparing weekly deposits

·  Preparing annual 1099’s

Requirements: 

 

2+ years experience working in a HIGH VOLUME/FAST-PACED accounts payable  environment doing full cycle AP Job costing, Timberline software and homebuilding experience a plus

 

SKILLS:

 Strong, accurate alpha numeric 10 key data entry skillstime management skillsGood computer skills, including accounting software, Word and ExcelStrong communication, customer service and organizational skills
