ACCOUNTING – A high volume construction company located in Addison, is seeking a candidate with 3+ yrs experience. 

Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting
Proven ability to resolve Internal/External disputes
Proven ability to plan, organize and complete projects
Construction accounting background is a plus

Duties and responsibilities may include:
Analyze vendor invoices and reconcile vendor statements
Communicate with suppliers, subcontractors and other staff on issues/discrepancies
Ensure accounts payable is accurately reflected in the general ledger
Assist in purchase order/commitment process
Prepare waivers
Assist in inventory reconciliation
Expensing of rental equipment to proper accounts/jobs
Verify employee expenses
Special projects as assigned

Ability to multi-task and prioritize in fast paced environment
Must be a problem solver
Detail orientated, competitive, professional, ethical, honest
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Familiarity with Accounting concepts, practices and procedures
Self motivated and directed
Ability to read and interpret documents
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables
where only limited standardization exists
Use of telephone, computers, copiers, and other electronic devices are essential
