Accounting Growth Opportunities - Manufacturing

AccountSource has partnered with two of Columbia's leading manufacturing entities to assist with the following accounting opportunities:  Plant Controller and Senior Financial Analyst.  These roles will be responsible for the management and execution of all general accounting and inventory control functions.  The ideal candidates must be forward-thinking individuals that demonstrate personal initiative and the ability to drive business change.

Responsibilities:Manage the timely completion of the month-end financial close Prepare all post-closing plant financial analysis including performance reports and manufacturing variances. Prepare and coordinate the annual budget at the plant level Prepare, maintain and analyze product costs. Maintain cost accounting system including development of costs for new products and annual revision to existing part numbers Identify issues and proactively initiate analyses / solutions to plant issues

Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field 5+ years of progressive experience within a manufacturing environment CPA, CMA or MBA a plus Experience must incorporate general accounting, cost accounting, AP, AR & payroll Must be a self-starter with exceptional analytical skills that thrives in a fast-paced, complex manufacturing environment SAP experience strongly preferred
