 Bachelors Degree of equivalent experience in Accounting Minimum of 5 years in lead accoutning role, preferably in a manufacturing environment Knowledge and experience in ERP systems, from an accounting perspective Provide day-to-day operational expertise as well as insight and management that will drive decisions throughtout the organization Broad business knowledge, a proven ability to thrive in a high growth environment and demonstrated expceptional integrity are a must Start-up experience is required

1.            Manage all accounting department activities in support of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles to meet the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close schedules on time and with accurate reporting.

2.            Review and audit performance of department procedures and take corrective actions as needed to safeguard the company’s assets through the installation of appropriate controls and separation of duties as possible.

3.            Maintain a daily review of the cash flow position with respect to collections and disbursements and take corrective actions as necessary to maintain an appropriate level of operating cash.

4.            Implement process improvements within the accounting areas and recommend to other departments ideas that will result in improved efficiencies at reduced cost.  Review all expenditures versus budget and make recommendations to correct unfavorable variances.

5.            Prepare and interpret monthly financial results versus budget and prior year and provide management with a clear understanding of the business based on reporting; discuss issues that require attention in order to achieve budget objectives.

6.            Lead the yearly budget process within all departments to include the development and implementation of plans, programs, cost reductions, systems upgrades, automation and strategies to achieve budget objectives.

7.            Maintain current knowledge of internal revenue laws, regulations and rulings which affect the company, and advise management of required action.

8.            Facilitate the preparation of local, state and federal tax returns and review with corporate tax counsel in a timely manner.

9.          Direct internal auditing functions in full collaboration with independent public accountants.

10.        Determine the company’s income, costs and profits, physical inventories, receipts and expenditures, and allocation of costs.

11.        In conjunction with the President and Human Resources, properly manage and determine effectiveness of present employee benefits programs including insurance coverage such as medical, life, disability and other plans.

12.        Provide management with a capital requirement forecast in support of the budget.

13.        Collaborate closely with the President in legal affairs pertinent to corporate financial matters.

14.        Supervise the overall activities of the office through the President; provide needed staffing, training and counseling, as required.

15.        Participate in the budget and long-range planning programs of the company.

16.        Provide financial information or reports, as required, by the Board of Directors, the President and other members of the management team.

17.        Complete special projects or analysis as requested by the President.

18.        Perform other duties as assigned that are intrinsic to the success of the organization.
