ACCOUNTING MANAGER

 

Quebecor World Premedia, New York seeks an experienced candidate to join our staff in New York City (mid-Manhattan).   .

 

Responsibilities include processing payroll and preparing related reports, monthly financial statements, G/L account reconciliations, month end close, financial variance explanations, special projects, including forecasting and budgeting. Candidate will work closely with the NY Management Staff to provide financial guidance.  Supervision of a staff accountant required.

 

Chosen candidate will be responsible for inter-company transactions, fixed assets and analytical projects. Strong communication skills both written and oral essential.

 

Bachelors’ degree in accounting or finance and previous financial experience required.  Working knowledge of accounting principles/practices, Excel (Pivot Tables), PowerPoint & Word are required. Exp with database program a plus
