CITY/STATE: Woodland Hills, CA 91367POSITION TYPE: Full Time, EmployeeJOB CATEGORY: Accounting/Finance/InsuranceEDUCATION LEVEL: Bachelor's DegreeSALARY: 85,000.00 - 95,000.00 USD /yearREFERENCE CODE: AcctgMgr_SS Accounting Manager     Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for coordination of monthly consolidation of subsidiary entities (approx 15-20 entities) Detail monthly review and analysis of subsidiary general ledgers (approx 7 -10 entities) inclusive of Monthly account reconciliation reviews performed by foreign affiliates Preparation of monthly consolidation binder evidencing reviews Preparation of monthly consolidated fixed asset roll-forwards, including review of compliance with IFRS versus local EU statutes (i.e. capitalization versus expense) Responsible for monthly actual to budget variance analysis for subsidiary entities (7-10 entities) Responsible for monthly forecast to actual variance analysis for subsidiary entities (7-10 entities) Reconciliation of IC transactions ensuring proper elimination (balance sheet/income statement) Involvement with setting intercompany transfer pricing policies both in the US and EU, including meetings with consultants, execution of internal contracts as well as monthly preparation of calculation Monthly reconciliation and analysis of foreign currency translation details Annual preparation of audit schedulesSecondary Responsibilities: Coordination of annual US business filings Assist in preparation of Board of Director packages, inclusive of annual budget presentation Responsible for journal entries to consolidation, elimination and revaluation ledgers Review journal entries, reports and reconciliations prepared by senior accountants Management analysis and reports on an as needed basis Requirements: Strong communication skills, written and verbal – required for communication with foreign offices Ability to research topics in both IFRS and US GAAP accounting principles database 3-4 years public accounting experience (Big 4 a plus) Some travel as needed Ability to multi task and work independently with minimal guidance Ability to research issues  Benefits: Opportunity to learn IFRS and enhance US GAAP knowledge Opportunity to obtain hands on experience in accounting systems and general ledger inclusive of creating reports Opportunity to expand managerial role as supervising foreign associates remotely and perhaps on site if travel is required Learn how to prepare forecast and budget assumptions and schedules Develop accounting and internal control procedures Ability to create an impact in a growing and dynamic company experiencing significant growth About Ledgent Search Group Ledgent Search Group specializes in the placement of Accounting, Finance, Tax, Treasury, and Audit professionals with top companies in every industry nationwide.
