Accounting Manager

NAMM California, a leader in the Managed Care industry, has an immediate opportunity as a Accounting Manager/Corporate Accounting in our Ontario, California location.  The position responsibilities and requirements are as follows:Management and supervisory direction which includes oversight of accounts payable and payrollCoordination of monthly close process, accurate and timely recording of operating expensesReviews financials or management companies for reasonableness and accuracyEstablishes, coordinates and sets priorities for the department; meets with staff to identify and resolve problems; assigns work activities and projects; monitors work flowBachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or related fieldsFive (5) yrs increasingly responsible experience in accounting including two yrs of supervisory responsibilitiesAbility to interpret and apply federal, state, and local laws and regulationsStrong knowledge of Excel, Word and accounting systems (will be tested)Effective verbal and written communication skills
