About the Opportunity

The Accounting Manager role withing the organization will report the Corporate Controller.  The successful candidate

will have a hands-on critical role with broad and primary responsibility for accounting functions across the company.

This position will be based in our Wixom, Michigan with active presence in our Bowling Green, OH location. 

Job Functions:Assists in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budget, accounting, and payroll Preparation of various Financial Statements and Reports Directs and participates in cost analyses and rate studies Coordinate inventory control processes (excess job material, cycle counting & obsolete material review) Conducts internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls Prepares statements and reports of estimated future costs and revenues Directs the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, depreciation, operating expenses, accounts payable and insurance records Manage the following functions in the Accounting Department: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll

Qualifications:Strong computer skills including Excel and WordExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalDetailed orienteded, ability to multi-task and meet deadlinesMust be able to maintain confidential informationAbility to learn new systems quicklyAbility to work well under pressure

Experience and Education:3 - 6 years experience, preferably in a manufacturing enviornmentBachelor's Degree PreferredFinancial Statement PreperationBudgeting Preparation and Reporting, OrganizationSoftware: JD Edwards a plus, MS Office required, Hyperion financial reporting a plus.
