Accounting Manager Controller (Henderson, NV )

Qualified Accounting Manager candidates will have a BA degree in accounting, 10+ years of hands on accounting experience and 5 solid years of management. As the Accounting Manager, your responsibilities will include: •Ensure accurate booking to the ledger of automated and manual programs for an internet distributor •Oversee the accounting and reporting of fixed assets. •Manage the accounting, reporting and analysis sales. •Oversee bank reconciliations, treasury process, payroll and accounts payable. •Ensure timely completion of credit card account reconciliations and resolution of account reconciling items. •Review current processes and challenge work flow to improve efficiency and accuracy of work product. •Hire, coach and mentor staff; conduct performance appraisals and ensure training needs are met. Requirements: •BS degree in accounting; CPA preferred. •10 years of general accounting experience; 3-4 years supervisory experience. •Internet or retail accounting experience preferred. •Experience in bank reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, ledger account reconciliations, and retail accounting and reporting. •Strong PC skills; QuickBooks experience preferred. •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. •Strong focus on process improvement. •Strong problem solving and attention to detail skills.
