Accounting Manager- G/L Experience

Our client, a Fortune 500 publicly-traded company, is searching for an experience Accounting Manager with extensive G/L background. 

 

This position is responsible for the management and accurate execution of corporate accruals.The Accounting Manager is also responsible for related balance sheet account reconciliations, general ledger account variance analysis and the generation of financial reports for internal customers.  Key responsibilities are:General Ledger Accounting in a high transactional environmentReporting according to SOX requirementsFinancial Closings/Balance Sheet AnalysisSupervising 3-4 Accounting professionals

Required:

BS Degree in Accounting; 6-8 years of Accounting Management experience required within a publicly-traded, high volume environment.  Prior Supervisory experience mandatory and Peoplesoft experience preferred.
