Accounting Manager, International

Position Description

This position works as a part of the Finance team to analyze and interpret financial data that is used to make business decisions in the preparation of financial statements. In addition, this position is responsible for maintaining/updating records, and completing assignments with minimal upervision.

Major Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of Month end Financial statements. Responsibilities to include account analysis and preparation of journal entries.
• P&L Analysis, including the preparation of variance analysis and key performance metrics.
• Sponsorship contract review to ensure financial compliance – initiate billing request forms / monitor collections activity.
• Balance sheet analysis, including monitoring key deferred revenue accounts.
• Review of month end financial statements.
• Assist in the coordination of the audit process.
• Ad hoc requests.

Required Skills/Knowledge

• Professional and technical accounting knowledge.
• Knowledge of Peoplesoft preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.

Experience Needed

• 1-2 years accounting experience.
• Experience with accounting software technology.

Educational Background Required

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance.
