Accounting Principals is partnering with an industry leader in their field to assist in filling a Supply Accounting Manager position. Our client, located in the Northwest part of Houston, is a global manufacturing company with locations in 80 countries.This career advancing opportunity is direct hire. What a diverse role! In this position you have tremendous visibility within the local office and locations throughout North America and overseas.On a daily basis you will interact with the VP of Operations, CEO, Financial Controller, and Plant Managers. This is a highly visible position with tremendous room for growth. Some of the highlights are below!As a valued team member, your duties will include the following: Overseeing supply accounting transactions (2 staff direct reports) Inventory, cost variances, currency conversions (Euros and Pesos) Reporting, recommending areas of change and cost reductions in plants throughout North America, Mexico and CanadaIdeal Candidate Qualifications: BBA-Accounting or Finance Standard Costing Experience Manufacturing Industry Experience Ability to travel 10% (N. America, Canada and Mexico) Personality traits-Action/results oriented, effect change easily, excellent communication skills, able to present solutions (not just identify problems) Desire to move up within the organization and passionate about their role 3-5 years experience in a similar roleWe are currently conducting first interviews for our client.
