Accounting Manager for our Start-Up Services Group

We have an immediate opportunity for an Accounting Manager/ Senior Accountant in our Start-Up Services Group. Qualified candidates will have hands on corporate and /or public accounting experience with expertise in the following:

Responsibilities:Monthly and quarterly close including preparing journal entries and monthly accruals and reconciling accounts to the general ledgerInterface with the auditors at quarter and year endIn depth analysis and reconciliation of balance sheet accountsAssisting with the preparation of financial statements and internal reportsStock options administration and reporting including FAS123R using Equity Edge is a plus

 

Requirements:5-9 years of accounting experience in hi-tech/bio-techBA/BS degree in accounting, CPA or CPA candidate a plusHaving both industry experience and public accounting experience are a plus, pre-IPO experience a plusSolid accounting background, knowledge of how an accounting transaction affects the GL, balance sheet and income statementsStrong computer skills including experience with a major ERP such as SAP or Oracle, MS Excel and MS Word
