Accounting/Payables Representative

Mellano & Company is a wholesale flower grower in the Oceanside/Carlsbad area. We are a fast-paced office, especially in peak floral holiday periods such as Mother's Day and Valentine's Day. We are a very casual work environment, with office hours from 7am-4pm Monday-Friday. We are looking for a energetic Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team!

If you are an individual who is able to process A/P quickly, accurately and multi-task then this might be the perfect position for you!  Your duties would include but are not limited too daily deposits, monthly and quarterly inventories, preparing manual checks as needed, preparing and verifying credit card and travel reconciliations.

We are a smaller office so not only is it important that you can work as part of the overall team, but also responsible and independent enough to work on projects independently. You must be mature and responsible, and able to assist in managing other individuals periodically on certain projects/tasks. Hours for this position would be Monday-Friday from 7am-3:30pm.
