The scope of this job is to provide system support for the investment accounting application.  Position Responsibilities: 1. Participate in the analysis, planning, testing and implementation of system releases. 2. Provide daily customer support of the investment accounting system for equity, fixed income and derivative investments.3. System troubleshooting and resolution of systems issues.4. Completion of initial system balancing for statutory reporting process and related quarterly support activities. 5. Special projects and assignments.Required Skills: (skills individual must bring to the job) and skill levels required: - Beginner (has general understanding/knowledge) - Intermediate (has good working knowledge/understanding) - Advanced (is considered an expert) The skills required are 1. Exposure to project management methodology and system implementations a plus.Computer Proficiency: (computer skills needed to do the job) Office suite, Access, Experience with investment accounting applications. Exposure to or knowledge of SQL and database reporting tools a plus.Education: College Degree- Preferred  Major Preference: Accounting (CPA a plus)
