Accounting Specialist - Trust Operations

Greenway area firm seeks energetic and sharp candidates with accounts payable and bookkeeping experience who enjoy a fast-paced environment and a variety of work assignments.  We pay for our employee's portion of benefits including health insurance, disability insurance, and vacation.

 

The essential functions of this position include:Reviewing client invoices and obtaining approval for payment, verifying that funds are available, writing checks and processing payment according to client specifications. Recording monthly accounting transactions through journal entries.  Online banking, preparing wire transfers, setting up bank accounts, and developing a relationship with bank staff. Completing special project assignments involving account and financial statement research using Microsoft Excel.



Requirements

1-2 years of accounts payable experience

1 year of bookkeeping experience including journal entries

Intermediate Excel skills

Ability to interface with people at all levels within the organization

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills and attention to detail

Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Strong sense of urgency and responsiveness to others needs

Stable work history and acceptable credit and background check results
