Accounting Supervisor - Full Charge Bookkeeper

BPI Medical is a medical equipment repair facility located in Fife, Washington.  We have been in business over thirty years.  We are a small company of about 60 people – people who have a passion for the work they do! 

 

We are currently looking for an Accounting Supervisor who is a full-charge bookkeeper.  The salary for this position ranges from $39,000 to $45,000 annually based upon experience, academic education, and professional education. 

 

This position will be involved in the processing of all daily accounting and payroll functions for our company.  These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparing income statements, balance sheets, preparing state business and occupation taxes, preparing biweekly payroll, and preparing requested accounting reports to facilitate the management decision making processes.  Excel spreadsheet capabilities are a must.  This skill set should include the ability to generate formulas and pivot tables.

 

This position will cover the entire spectrum of Accounts Payable.  These duties would include, but are not limited to, processing AP documents, reconciling AP accounts, being proactive about paying company obligations, initiating and responding to all billing questions with company vendors in a manner that maintains a mutually beneficial relationship.

 

This position will have supervisory duties to include supervision of the receptionist and the AR clerk.  This is a highly collaborative position in a fast-paced environment.  Many larger corporate monoliths pretend to have an open-door policy – we have an open book company and we look forward to welcoming the right person!
